I John 4: 7-8 states in the KJV: Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
We know that God loved us from the beginning and sent his most precious possession to die for each of our lives. Could we as parents ever consider permitting one of our children to be sacrificed and suffer as Jesus suffered?
We can never comprehend the price that was paid to ransom our sinful souls from an eternal separation from God.
Let's thank the Lord today for the ultimate price that He paid for us and remember to pray and read His Word. His word reveals His character and who He is. The Scriptures say "Draw near to me, and I will draw near to you." Let Jesus be your closest friend. Get to know your Saviour. He is waiting patiently for you. His is the "ultimate love". Amen.
