September 2015

We all remember 9/11 and the disaster that happened on that date.  We should be praying Psalm 91 this September and always. It is a Psalm of protection.  We should pray that no weapon formed against us or our country or world will prosper this September or any other month.  The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy; but our Savior is the good Shepherd who protects His sheep, and we, as believers in Christ, are the sheep of His pasture. Jesus laid down His life for us that we should have abundant life.

Although we are always so busy doing what we think are necessary things, we need to draw near to God, and He will draw near to us.  Lord, cover us with your protective blood, teach us by your Holy Spirit the way we should conduct our lives and the paths we should take daily.

This is a time of great anxiety for us as God's creation, but over and over the Scriptures say "Fear Not", for I will uphold you with my mighty right hand. We are written on the palms of God's hands and nothing or no one can take us out of His grasp.

Scriptures proclaim that these times will come.  We are to look up for "our redemption draws nigh."  "Shalom, beloved".  Know that God knows and cares about you and everything that concerns you.  Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened.  Keep reading God's word. There you will find answers and comfort.  God will never leave nor forsake you. Again I say:  "Shalom". May you have the peace of God this day and forever more. Amen, and so be it!
