Our Mission Field
by Ruth Wolff, Outreach Facilitator
June........the beginning of permanent warm weather, end of school, vacation, Father's Day....(so many activities!).....the bursting forth of leaves and flowers. How beautiful is God's creation!
It's time for Aglow ladies to get moving and be on the lookout for all those "pre-Christians". I really fell for that word when I first saw it in an Aglow report. I always thought of the "unsaved" or "lost", but now I am out looking for "pre-Christians". Those are the ones who are just waiting and hoping for someone (like you or me) to come alongside and tell them the good, great, and wonderful news of Jesus Christ.
Can you spot these precious people easily? Do they look any different? Not really. They might even look tired or angry, so don't judge by appearance. Judge by the witness of the Spirit and go boldly forward, rescuing another lost soul. What a glorious way to carry out Jesus' command to go and make disciples in all all nations.
Many of the nations are living right here in our backyard, so we are already blessed. We don't have to go on a "mission trip" to find them. So let's get busy building the Kingdom of God!
Happy hunting! (Remember Matthew 9:37-38)
