As we approach this fall season, we might be filled with worry and fear. Things in the natural seem to be in a downward spiral with no light at the end of the tunnel. This is the time of testing. Our country is being put through a "wringer" so to speak. If we look at the circumstances around us, it seems that everything is growing darker, but the Word admonishes us to "look up our redeemer grows nigh".
We are not as those who have no hope. Our hope is in a Saviour, Jesus, who loved us so much that He poured out His life blood for us, as the Father felt the anguish and pain of seeing His beloved son tortured so that He was marred more than any man.
We cannot ever repay the sacrifice that was given for our eternal lives. We can only thank and praise God, our Father, for loving us so much that He gave the most precious possession that any one can give, His precious son, and Jesus paid the ultimate price...His very life.
The blood that flowed from the cross that day washed away all of my guilt, all of my sins, and now I can stand before the Father on that judgment day, washed clean by the blood of that spotless lamb.
These disconcerting times shall pass, and one day we shall see that marvelous, indescribable place that God has prepared for us from the foundation of the world.
Give Him all the praise and glory that He deserves. He is our blessed hope and our redeemer.
Praise His Holy Name, Forever!!
