Heralding the Birth of Jesus

The angels proclaimed the "Good News" that a Saviour was born in Bethlehem, to the shepherds who were tending their flocks in the fields.
The wonder and awe that surely filled their hearts,  can still fill our hearts today.
The ultimate gift of the Father was sent down to us wrapped as a wee babe and placed in a manger, and our innermost being can over flow with His love.
Today we can still receive miraculous gifts from the Holy Spirit so that we can proclaim the glorious news; that we are not alone.  We can have one, also sent from the Father, to guide us through life. He will be closer than a brother and will fill the emptiness in our lives with the knowledge that the story of Jesus' birth is true. We can know that Jesus was born, that the Heavenly Father loves us, and will give us the Holy Spirit; so that we can be able to fulfill our calling in life.  We can reach out to others with the Gift of God's love to a hurting world.
Although it is surely impossible that Jesus was born the 25th. of December, it is a time when we acknowledge His birth and celebrate and worship the "King of Kings and Lord of Lords."

We at Aglow hope that this will be a special time for you, and that you will feel God's presence in whatever situation you find yourself.  Someday we will meet Him face to face; so until that time, keep the faith and trust in the Lord with all your heart, knowing that He will be your guide if you ask Him to .
