REBEKAH ON A CAMEL COMING TO MARRY ISAAC |
(This picture is by Fredrich-bouterwek)
This is a story of trust on Rebekah's part to cross the desert to meet a man she had never seen with a man she did not know. Eliezer was the servant of Abraham, the father of Isaac. Eliezer was Rebekah's guardian. She was entrusted to his care. He had prayed to find a bride for Isaac, and his prayer was answered when Rebekah gave him a drink and also watered the camels.
This is a wonderful story of how God worked in this situation. Everything was orchestrated by Him. Rebekah had to trust Eliezer's intentions, his knowledge, and his leading to bring her where she needed to go. Rebekah represented us, the bride of Christ. Abraham represented God the father, and Eliezer represented the Holy Spirit who was the guide.

We know that God has a plan for our lives, also. Jeremiah 29:11 states "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Verse 29:13 "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall seek for me with all you heart." KJV.
God is faithful to fulfill His word when we do our part. It may not seem that anything is happening, but have the faith of Abraham, who became a great nation, and in the appointed time your miracle will happen. Heaven is waiting for all believers who put their trust in God and His word. What better answer to your prayers. There is a season for everything under the sun according to Ecclesiastes Chapter 3. Don't give up, be patient and have faith. God loves you. Jesus gave His life for you, and prays for you constantly.
