Paul describes himself as a bond slave for Jesus Christ. In Colossians 4:3 Paul speaks of the mystery of Christ for which he was in bonds.
I Corinthians states that we are bought with a price. Chapter 7:22 "For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant. Verse 23: Ye are bought with a price... Christ has set us free from death and the grave. Jesus has the keys to death and Hades. He overcame every curse that was put on man by sin. Everyone that is hanged on a tree is cursed, so Jesus became a curse for all mankind who would accept Him. You can read all the curses in the Book of Deuteronomy, we are no longer under a curse; we are free in Christ. "He who the son sets free is free indeed."
Know your rights, do not succumb to all the assignments of the enemy against you. The blood has cleansed you from all your unrighteous deeds. Your sins though as scarlet are now white as snow. He has removed them as far as the east is from the west, but this does not mean that we have the right to continue sinning. Be blessed this day in the knowledge that God loves you and Christ died in your place.
