Jesus Healing the sick - Should We Do the Same?

          Healing Blind Eyes

Healing at the Pool of Bethesda
                       Healing Jairus' daughter
Healing the paralytic                                                                           Healing the woman         who touched the Hem of Jesus' Garment

Is Healing For Today?

Can we be used in the healing of someone?  We believe in healing, we know that Jesus healed "all who came to Him".  We search everywhere for the answer to being used by God to heal the sick. There may be sin in our life that needs to be repented of.  We need to seek first the Kingdom of God. We need to spend our time in God's presence so we know what is on His heart concerning problems of illness and infirmity.  Isaiah 53 says that by His Stripes, we are healed.  He took 39 stripes on His body, one for every major disease that people face.
If I knew the answers to the problems of healing, I could rest in that knowledge, but I do not have them.  All I know is to Ask, Seek, and Knock.  We have already been given power and authority when we became Christians.  What is stopping us from using them?  We should be doing greater miracles than Jesus did according to His Word.
We can be witnesses to the lost and dying souls that we come across, and fulfill that part of the great commission.  We can have faith to believe that God is not a liar, and He says in His word that we shall heal the sick, offer deliverance, and speak in new tongues, if we drink any deadly poison we will not die. We can pick up deadly serpents and nothing by any wise shall hurt us. He will give His angels charge over us to protect us in all our ways.
We shall wait upon the Lord, renew our strength, and mount up with wings as eagles.  We will find our protection under his covering wings.
Lord, hear our prayer that we will do the mighty works of Jesus.  Amen
