JUNE 18th. FATHER'S DAY

My Father In Heaven

When the father you have is less than what he should be
because of weakness or circumstance, there is one who
will never be a disappointment.
There is a father who knew you in the mother's womb,
who knew all the days of  life appointed to you.
This father has a plan for your life, and that plan
is only for good and not for evil.

Our heavenly father knew that we would not live a perfect life,
but had the foresight to provide a Redeemer for us.
This was a perfect person who without sin would give His life
for us, not only while we were living; but even after death
provided a way of escape so that we would not perish eternally.
He gave us a hope and a reason for our existence.
He was a shepherd to us showing us the way of salvation and
eternal life.
He even sent us a "Helper" to be with us who would provide us
with the spiritual gifts that we would use to fulfill the plan that
was hidden in the mystery of our future before us.
We were no accident.  We are precious in His sight. He calls us
His children.  We have the honor of being named saints because
our lives have been predestined to follow the pathway that was
designed for each of us.

This Father's day we honor our Creator, our Heavenly Father,,
whose  name is above all names, whose holiness is without
question.  He said in His Word that we should be Holy as He
is Holy.  He has done all that was needed to make it so, and
it is up to us to surrender and commit our lives to our Father
who words cannot express His greatness.
He asks for our obedience and love and fellowship.
The creator of the Universe and all
that is in it calls us daughters and sons.  To me that is beyond
explanation. I have no words, I can only commit my life to
Him and know that He will never leave or forsake me, that He
will be there when I draw my last breath here in this earthly
existence.  I can only worship and praise His Holy name. Amen

My Hope

What a marvelous day it will be when our Savior's face we shall see;
When he holds out His hand and says come, I will show you to your new home.  As a bridegroom prepares for his bride a space, Jesus will fashion for each of us a wonderful place before He comes to take us, his bride, to our new dwelling.

When trials, sickness, and despair greet us with each new day's dawn, within our hearts we yearn for that time when our angel will come to escort us to our new heavenly throne.
Only joy and gladness there will be on that day when our Savior says, "Come and see the place that I have prepared for you."  The sorrows of earth will diminish when we see His smile, and He says it is enough, come and rest for there are no more trials. You have passed the test.

Glorious day, glorious day!
